Climate
The French Riviera is characterised by a Mediterranean climate, with pleasant temperatures all year round. Summers are very hot but never sultry, thanks to the constant presence of see breeze. There are towns on the coast where the sun shines nearly 300 days per year. The rainiest period coincides with the months of April-Mai and October-November. In July and August the tourist resorts can be very crowded, this is why June and September are considered the best months to enjoy this beautiful region.
