Protected by the gulf and touched by a crystalline sea, Saint Tropez is one of the most beloved and crowded resorts on the French Riviera.
Brigitte Bardot and numerous other characters of the world stardom contributed to build up the myth of Saint Tropez in the sixties, turning this little sea town into a world famous tourist place. .

The old town is dominated by the perfectly preserved Citadel, dating back to 1607, which has had for centuries an important defensive role. The borough of La Ponche, once populated by fishermen and craftsmen, is situated between the port and the citadel. With its narrow streets all conveying into the beautiful square of the Town Hall, the citadel is the most fascinating part of Saint Tropez.
The small port still preserves the original aspect, even if today the sober fishermen boats of the splendid “Vieux Port” have been almost completely replaced by luxurious yachts.
Saint Tropez is mostly appreciated for its fine white sandy beaches.
The 10 km leg of coast between Plage de la Bouillabaisse and Baie de Pampelonne is filled with trendy beaches, interrupted by beautiful coves and clear waters.
